The "in-person" event momentum has become more like pre-pandemic occasions in numbers, but are you making it simple for people with disabilities to attend?
As a Coach or Mentor, I know you enjoy bringing your network together for face-to-face events & retreats. We all agree that so much more can be achieved when we all get into the same room, to brainstorm, learn and network together.
But, what happens if the venue you choose isn't accessible for your entire audience?
What would you do if:
There was a barrier or something that prohibits part of your VIP group from taking part or even entering the venue building or location?
If someone purchased a place at your next event and due to their disability, then couldn't get into the room to take part?
You had to manage a situation where someone who attended wasn't able to feel comfortable and accepted because their specific needs hadn't been met?
Awkward...Right?
It’s only a matter of time! If this has never happened to you, but you haven't really given much thought to how you make your events accessible to all, then, as a person with disabilities, I can guarantee that its only a matter of time before it does happen.
With all of my knowledge, I have decided to help you
To really make this a simple standard process to adopt, I have created a list of all the questions that you can ask your next venue host to give you all the information you need about the accessibility of your next event. Then you can easily supply this information on your sales or sign up pages.

Personal Experience is EVERYTHING!
I've lost count of the events I've wanted to attend that have no or very little information about what the accessibility is for the venue.
I often give up without buying a ticket because I know that if it’s not mentioned in the sales information, then I can guarantee that it probably hasn't really been considered in the organisation.
It usually leaves me with a choice between trying to figure out all of the information I need for myself, or just not bothering to even try to make it work. Because its generally an uphill battle.
Are you missing out on sales to a large audience because you are making the accessibility of your events clear at the point of booking?
I’ve made it my mission to help everyone who runs in-person events of any type to incorporate the questions around accessibility into the conversation when they are booking their event venues, so why not make it your goal to include the accessibility and inclusion information for every single one of your events going forward where people can see it.
I want to help in-person event hosts and organisers to have the conversation in the most simple way possible, so that your would-be attendees with accessibility concerns can:
Book a place with confidence that they are able to attend without issue.
Feel happy that their needs are being considered and met by their host.
Make finding the relevant information easy and straight forward.
